Robert Alexander Brown, attorney, of Seneca, Mo., is the son of L. G. and K. A. (Templeton) Brown, and was born near Dyersburg, Tenn., November 30, 1865. In 1874 he removed with his parents to Peirce City, Mo., where he attended the public schools for some years, and afterward completed his education in the Baptist College at that place. He afterward read law under Cloud and French, at Peirce City. and then attended the law school at Columbia, Mo. He was a delegate to the Democratic Congressional and Judicial Conventions held in Peirce City, Mo., in 1886; also to the State Convention held at Sedalia, Mo., and the Congressional Convention held at Springfield, Mo., in 1888. In the State Convention he was appointed committeeman from the Thirteenth District on resolutions and platform. It would be unnecessary to state that Mr. Brown is a Democrat in his political views. He is a member of the Zeta Phi fraternity, organized at Columbia. Mo., in 1868, and is a young man of promise.
