John Buzzard is a brother of Jasper Buzzard, whose sketch precedes this. He was born September 8, 1850, and resides on the old homestead where his boyhood days were passed. He owns 239 acres of good land, and is a successful agriculturist. In December, 1873, he was united in marriage to Miss Hettie Heaton, who was born in the “Buckeye State,” a daughter of David and Sina Heaton, and by her is the father of four children: Pearl, Ara, Olgie and Chester E.
