A vintage postcard view of the St. David's Church, Cheraw, South Carolina. The church was built about 1770 (text on the card states 1764) and used by both, British and American forces during the Revolutionary War and by the Confederate and Union Armies during the Civil War. This was the last state church (Anglican) built in South Carolina during the reign of King George III. A very old cemetery is located next to the church building. The church remains in use today as an Episcopal Church and is located at 91 Church Street, Cheraw, South Carolina.
