A vintage postcard of the High School building, Independence, Missouri. This was the high school that future President Harry Truman graduated from in 1901. The building was later known as Palmer Junior High School. The home that the Truman family lived in until his death is located just one block west from this school building. This postcard view was postmarked in 1908.

Independence is the county seat of Jackson County, Missouri.
