Ginger Blue Lodge, McDonald County, Missouri, Vintage Postcard
A vintage postcard view of the original Ginger Blue Lodge in McDonald County, Missouri. This famed resort opened in 1915 and was located on the opposite side of the Elk River from Elk Springs and between Lanagan and Noel, Missouri. The building pictured here was later replaced by a more modern building which in turn was destroyed by fire, July 13, 2003. While the Ginger Blue Lodge no longer exists, the community in the immediate surrounding area is now named Ginger Blue. This postcard view is postmarked in 1929.
