A vintage postcard of the Boots Court, Carthage, Missouri. Located at the junction of Highway 66 and 71. The Boots Court was across the street from the Boots Drive Inn. Note the sign "Radio in every room." The text from the back of the postcard reads: "A new, modern court of 14 units, each with tile shower, floor furnace heat thermostat control, air conditioned, radio and garage. Three blocks from business district. Good cafes within 1/2 block. Phone 3946. Mr. and Mrs. Ples M. Neeley, Managing owners." See the additional photos below.

A night view of the Boot Motel as photographed in 2003. The motel remains open to travelers and is a favorite landmark for those traveling the historic Route 66 highway which passes in front of the motel. The neon trim shown in this photo is no longer in use.
