A vintage postcard picturing the Deutsche Evangelisch Lutherische Kirch (German Evangelical Lutheran Church), Honolulu, Hawaii. The text on the back of card reads: "The great number of German residents in Hawaii has led to the erection on the Island of Kauai and in Honolulu of churches of the Lutheran faith. The church in Honolulu is situated on Beretania Street was erected principally by gifts from the Isenberg and Hackfeld families who have been prominent in the commercial and political affairs of the islands since 1850." This postcard view was postmarked in 1915.
