B. was taken to Tennessee when a lad of five years, and was there reared to manhood and married, the latter event taking place in McMinn County August 10, 1842. They farmed in that State for about four years after their marriage, then came to Missouri, and settled in what is now Webster County in 1846. Six years later they located on the farm on which Isaac is residing, and were obliged to labor very hard for a number of years to clear the land and get it under cultivation. He served one year in the State Militia during the late war, and was county judge four years. His death occurred on the 11th of October, 1888.
