Jim McGannon, dealer in hardware, farm implements, stoves and tin-ware, harness and saddlery, etc., established his business at Seneca in 1875. He does a wholesale and retail business, and his trade extends to a point 125 miles west, and as far as Cincinnati, Ohio, and Arkansas. His average sales amount to $30,000 annually. Mr. McGannon was reared in Prescott, Canada, and was educated at St. Joseph College, Ottawa, Ont. He left school in 1872, and in 1875 came to Seneca, Mo. Mr. McGannon was married in Canada. In politics he is a Democrat, and was a member of the Democratic convention, and is a member of the executive committee. He is a good business man, and is well respected by all acquainted with him.
