Mr. Deatherage next married Mrs. Susan F. Renfrow, daughter of William and Nancy (Vaughn) Moore, old settlers of Moniteau County; the father died in February, 1869, and the mother, who was born in November, 1834, is still living. Of their six children three are living: William D., Senna J. and Susan. The latter became the wife of John Renfrow, who died December 5, 1877, aged thirty-three years.
