Isaac N. Lewis, Jr., was born in Clark County, Mo., in 1851, and is the son of Isaac N. Lewis and Lucy A. (Lewis) Lewis. Our subject was born on the old homestead of his father, and remained there until his marriage, in 1875, with Mary Todd, when he moved to the place where he now lives. Mary (Todd) Lewis is a daughter of Dr. William and Anna (Richardson) Todd, natives of Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis had one son, William D. Lewis, and in 1877 the young couple were separated by the death of Mrs. Lewis. Mr. Lewis then married Minnie Huston, and this union has been blessed with two children: Harry H. and Georgie M. —a boy and a girl. Our subject has never held any public office, although his father was an active supporter of the Democratic party.
