ANDREW J. WYATT was born July 28, 1828, in Christian County, Ky., and in 1845 came with his parents to Ballard County, where he still resides. His father, Richard Wyatt, a native of King and Queen County, Va., a soldier in the war of 1812, died in 1868, at the age of eighty years. Richard married Martha Harrelson, of Christian County, Ky. (she died in 1853, aged about seventy years), and their offspring are William B., John T., Myra J. (Brame), subject, Richard N., George W., Elizabeth A. (Dance), Sarah E. (Penn) and Mary H. (Penn). On November 11, 1866, subject married Miss Mary E., daughter of Benjamin F. Moses, of Paducah, Ky., born June 23, 1850, and to them have been born James H., Carrie A., Lula E., Frank R., Ned T. and Norma Kate. Our subject is a farmer, owning 649 acres of valuable land in a fine state of cultivation. In politics he affiliates with the Democratic party.
