T. M. GRISHAM, grocer, was born in Tennessee, February 8, 1850. He received a liberal education, attending Lebanon College and Cumberland University, from which he graduated in 1869. He was then in his father’s store for two years, and came to Kansas in 1871 and located at Pawnee Station, where he was employed by a coal company for three years and then engaged in the coal business with Mr. Sharp about two years. He then went to Godfrey Station, and then to Scammonville, being there two years in the same business. He came to Columbus in 1882, and commenced his present business. He was Postmaster at Scammonville two years and is now a member of the Board of Education at Columbus. He was married to Miss M. E. Hoffman, of Connecticut, in 1873. They have two children living— Maude and James Elmer. Minnie M. is deceased.
