WILSON, JACOB P., farmer, Sec. 27; P. O. Summerset; born in Washington county, Ohio, March 7, 1840, and was raised there; he came to this State in 1865, and located in Linn county; while there he married Miss Mary M. Bolton, January 1, 1870, a native of that county; they have a family of two sons: Allen L. and Albert P.; he enlisted in the late war of the rebellion in August, 1861, in Co. F, 36th Ohio infantry, and was mustered out in the fall of 1864; was in the battles of Lewisburg, Virginia, Second Bull Run, South Mountain, Antietam, Chickamauga, Tennessee, Mission Ridge, Winchester, Virginia, and various skirmishes; he owns a farm of 125 acres.
