McMAHON, JOHN, farmer; Sec. 22; P. O. Liberty. He was bom in 1832 in Ireland; in 1855 came to Quincy; in 1857 removed to Liberty township; they own 200 acres of land. Married Mary Clark in 1858. She was born in 1824 in Ireland; in 1827 she came with her parents to America. Her mother lives in this township; she was born in 1800. They have three children, John, Mary, and Julia. Her parents came to this county in 1833. Her father died in 1857.
