Text from the back of the card: "The base of operations and supply for the Atlantic and Scouting Fleet. On the same reservation is located the Hampton Roads Naval Training Station, where more than fifty per cent of all naval recruits are given their first training; the Hampton Roads Naval Air Base and the Hampton Roads Submarine Base. Site of Jamestown Exposition in 1907. Splendid view of Hampton Roads from the base. Many beauitiful buildings. Battleship built on land for training purposes. Replica of Independence Hall along driveway at Willoughby Bay front."
