JOHN SINN, dairyman, post office McKeesport, a son of Johannes Sinn, was born in Germany in 1833, and was there reared and educated. In 1857 he went to Australia, where for some years he was engaged in the gold mines, acquiring a competency. In 1875 he joined his parents in America, they having come here in 1867, and located in Lincoln township, this county. Here John purchased a large farm delightfully located on the Youghiogheny river, and has since been engaged in farming and dairying, finding a ready sale for his productions in McKeesport. He is, as yet, unmarried, and is one of the well-to-do farmers of Lincoln. His father’s family consisted of six children: Fredericka (Mrs. Klotz), John, Louisa (Mrs. Jacob Diehle), Caroline (the late Mrs. Lueckert), Gottlieb and Ludwig. They are members of the Presbyterian Church of McKeesport.
