Pilgrim, who was born in Germany, and came to America at an early day, first locating in St. Louis and later in Moniteau County, where he now resides. After his marriage Mr. Andres located on his present farm of 120 acres, seventy-five of which are under cultivation. He is a Republican in politics, and for about eight years has been a member of the school board. He and wife are members of the German Evangelical Church, and their union has beers blessed with the birth of six children: Lizzie, John, Willie, Eddie, George and Ida, all of whom have received good educational advantages.
