EDMUND ZENOR, born in Clay county, Indiana, Nov. 29, 1832, where he spent his youthful days, removing to Polk county, Iowa, in 1848, In 1856 he married Sarah Arsmith, who was born in Clay county, Indiana, in 1830, and married in Story county, Iowa. The names of the children are Emeline, Philip, James M., Lucy M., Dudley, Nancy, Joseph, and William. He is a member of the Christian Church. His business has been alternately farming and burning lime, which he has furnished in wholesale lots in the construction of many of the public buildings of Iowa.
