DR. WILLIAM H. PITCHER, dental surgeon of Paducah, was born in Trenton, N. J., in 1852. He is the second of a family of eight children, of William F. Pitcher and Jemima Paulison, now of Springfield, Mo. William H. was reared in his native city, and there graduated from the model school; removed with his family to Cairo, Ill., in 1869, which place he made his home until he entered on his profession. In 1877 he entered the Missouri Dental College, graduating with the degree of D. D. S., in February 1878. Dr. Pitcher has had several years’ practical experience in his profession, in which he has proven his ability. He removed from Nashville, Ill., to Paducah, Ky., in 1882, and is now engaged in a successful practice in the latter city. He was married in 1876 to Miss Octavia P. Reese, daughter of Hon. W. Reese, late mayor of Selma, Ala., and ex member of the Alabama legislature. Their union has been blessed with one child, Ethel Pitcher.
