ISAAC R. COOK was born in Columbus, Hickman Co., Ky., December 23, 1849, and is the fourth child born to William and Sophia M. (Cobb) Cook. He was married November 6, 1873, to Miss Nellie V. Gray, a native of Louisville, Ky. Three children blessed their union, only two of whom, one son and one daughter, are living. Both Mr. Cook and wife are members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Mr. Cook is also a member of the I. O. O. F., and in politics he is a Democrat.
