JOHNSON, ANTHONY; born in 1825 in Sweden. His father emigrated to the United States in 1865, and settled in Illinois where they resided for five years. Moved to Page county in 1870 and settled on section 21, Fremont township. His father died in 1874 when the responsibility and management of the estate chiefly devolved on Mr. J. Mr. Johnson has been elected to many township offices and is now justice of the peace. Mr. Johnson is a fine young man of more than average business ability.
