GEORGE C. FARMER, a native of the township where he now resides, was born December 27, 1852, the fourth son in a family of eight children- William H., Martha J, John T., Ezekiel A., George C., Wesley W., Mary E. and Joseph E. (deceased)—born to Ezekiel and Florinda J. (Campbell) Farmer, who were old settlers of Warrick County, Ind. George C. received a fair education in youth, remaining at home on the farm until his marriage with Miss Nancy E. Wright, who was born January 17, 1862, a daughter of William H. and Melissa (Hesson. Mr. and Mrs. Farmer are the Parents of four children, named John F., William E., Grover C. and Thomas H. Mr. Farmer makes farming and stock-raising a specialty, owning 107 acres of well improved land. He is a Democrat in politics, and one of Warrick County’s worthy and respected citizens. He and wife are independent in their religious views, and are members of no religious organization. They represent the better families of the township.
