STEWART, ROBERT, Harbor Master, 29 Front street; residence, 203 Maine street. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1831; came to this country in 1849, and located in this city in 1857. He married Miss Marian Jarrett in 1855. She was born in Scotland. They have three children: James A., Minnie B. and Robert F. Are members of the Unitarian Church. He is a Democrat. He went into the ice business in this city in 1859, and continued until the present time. He has been Harbor Master four years. Is a member of the Masons, Druids and Odd Fellows’ societies.
