BANGERT, CARL, farmer; Sec. 16; P. O. Quincy; born in Germany, Oct. 18, 1834; came to this county in 1853 and settled in Melrose township, where he resided about six years; then moved to Concord township, where he resided three years, after which time he moved to this township.. He was married to Miss Mary Wolcott. She was born in Germany. They have eight children, four boys and four girls. He has held different local offices in the township. He has 120 acres of land in a high state of cultivation, well improved and stocked abundantly with fruit, and very valuable. Democratic in politics, and member of the German Lutheran church of Quincy.
