William R. Daniel, of the grocery firm of Reed & Daniel, was born in Hempstead County, Ark., in 1864, and is a son of John S. and Kate M. (Bronaugh) Daniel [see sketch of Thomas L. Daniel]. Mr. Daniel’s early life was spent upon a farm, and he received an education which helped make him a good business man in after life. In October, 1887, he married Miss Lulu Brown, daughter of William Brown, and a native of Illinois. Mr. Daniel is one of the enterprising young men of Van Buren, is a stockholder in the Van Buren Ice and Coal Company, and is held in general esteem. In politics he is a Democrat.
